Photo Africa with Victor Adewale: 2017 in one blog post
In 2017, Photo Africa is sticking to its core initiative that seeks to tell stories with pictures, alongside representing the endless beauties scattered across Africa in photos.
The series which for now focuses on Nigeria, with the intent of documenting the every-day stories that don’t get enough media attention, the even bigger intent of showing the ordinariness of Africa- the struggle for survival of the common African, the unrehearsed drama on the street -how it is not something to be feared or looked upon with pity.
2017 promises to be more exciting for us and our readers, starting with our Untold Stories tour which involves visiting some less-explored states in Nigeria in bid to water down stereotypes and demystify previously held ideas about these places.
Today however, we bring you a medley of phone captured photos taken so far in the New Year.
Photo-Africa is a First Culture series with popular photographer, Victor Adewale geared at redefining Africa through the lenses. Send an email to email@example.com to partner with Victor on the Untold Stories tour.
