Bahati Books releases Black History Month Anthology by contemporary African Authors

Through the month of October, UK based Publishing House for African Writing, Bahati Books kept hope alive for literature lovers on Black History Month by releasing a story a day by her talented authors. The pieces which spanned from Memoirs, to Poetry, Essays and Short fiction  comprised interesting narratives on the foundation of being black and its importance.

In a tweet on October 31, the Company announced the release of the anthology which features works from her authors, Stanley Gazemba, Marko Phiri, Katlego Kol-Kes and Zainab Omaki amongst talented others.

The company which aims to bring to global readers captivating and well-written African literature by African authors is keen on promoting narratives of Africans, by Africans – both on the continent and in the diaspora and we believe this is a huge step in that direction.

The Anthology can be downloaded for free here
